Native Source was founded by Kristobal Fimbres and Christopher Stamos.

Christopher Stamos
was Managing Partner of the NY offices of Sterling Stamos Capital
Management and President of Corporate Philanthropy. Prior to joining
Sterling Stamos, Chris worked for the Environmental Protection Agency’s
Air and Toxics Division, Region 9, and for Saatchi & Saatchi as a
Creative in their Taiwan
offices. He spent 10 years in Asia studying and working in China,
Japan, and Taiwan where he attained fluency in Mandarin and studied
asian philosophy, religion, poltics, TCM, and art.
Chris earned a BA in Philosophy from Stanford University where he was awarded a Newton Tatum Scholarship towards an MA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Balliol College, Oxford University,
graduating with Honors. After studying Mandarin at the Cultural
University of Beijing, Chris received a Mombusho Scholarship towards an
MA in East Asian International Relations from the International
University of Japan, graduating as valedictorian with the Dean’s
Citation and with distinction.
Chris was the Vice Chairman of Friends Without a Border from
2004-07, an NGO which supports the Angkor Hospital for Children (a
pediatric treatment and medical training hospital in Siem Reap,
Cambodia) and remains a committed board member of FWAB. He was Chairman
of the Advisory Board of “Project Q”,
an international award created by Quincy Jones and the Harvard
University School of Public Health to showcase extraordinary leadership
and advocacy on behalf of children, and is presently an Executive
Committee Board Member of Malaria No More (www.malarianomore.org) and an active supporter and advocate for global health initiatives such as the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation’s HIV-AIDS Initiative (CHAI), Partners In Health (PIH), Esperanza (www.esperanza.org), and the Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF).
Chris lives in Tucson, Arizona.
